10/31/17: Halloween Traditions

I don't have many Halloween Traditions. I just do whatever I feel like doing at the time. I usually just give out candy to all the kids that knock on my door. That's always fun because most of them have creative costumes and it kinda reminds me of myself when I was younger. This year I'm probably gonna hang out with my friends though, as giving out candy is fun for only so long.

10/26/17: Adobe Spark Reflection

Adobe Spark is an application where you can make a variety of presentations. I prefer the page format personally, there isn't much to do with it but it's simple and easy to learn so you can incorporate any idea you want into it. I like this so much more than PowerPoint or Google Slides because it has a scrolling format and it's so much easier to use. I would definitely recommend this to someone just trying to make a quick presentation that will be easy to follow. However if you want a really detailed presentation, I would stick to Google Slides.

10/23/17: The Person I Admire Most

My closest friends are the people I admire most in my life. Most people would just say their parents but I feel like we don't tell our parents a lot of the stuff that goes on in our lives. I can basically talk to them about anything I don't have to censor myself either around them. They constantly push me to be the best version of myself and without them I wouldn't be half the person I am today. Having close friends is honestly vital because you need people to talk to about things that you normally wouldn't say to just acquaintances.

Infographic Reflection 10/20/17

 I did my Infographic about if College Athletes should be paid or not. I choose this because it is a highly debated topic and I'm really interested about it because a lot of factors go into it. I think it turned out pretty well despite it looking a bit small, It got the job done and displayed the info in a condensed manor. I used Piktochart (Which had a really similar layout to Canva). I chose it because of how easy it was to use for me. I would recommend it, the only downside is although there's a lot of different elements you can incorporate into your Infographic, you have to personally search for each one and that takes a couple minutes. There's plenty of things you can do to make your Infographic your own, and its easy to use. However it takes a bit of time. I don't think I'd use this much in the future because I don't use Infographics that often.

10/19/17: Dream Vacation

My dream vacation would be somewhere in Colorado by the Rockys but not in the middle of them. I like the cooler temperatures and I''d probably go there around March for spring break so I could finally learn to ski. I'd eat all of of my favorite foods which would be burgers, steaks, potatoes, and seafood. I'd bring along some of my friends and we'd stay in either a pretty huge hotel room or a cabin if we all had enough money to rent one out. I'd really want to see the forests, wildlife and mountains since I absolutely love nature.

10/16/17: Introduction to Infographics

1. An info-graphic is a marketing tactic that focuses on one simple element in order to get information across. The most popular subjects info-graphics cover are: technology, business, social media, and economics
2. The purpose is too convey a point through the use of facts and visual imagry
3. Related facts that point to one simple idea are what you should put on an info-graphic
4. If you make it visually appealing and don't use much text, it'll help the reader understand the info and possibly remember it.
5. I'd use it in order to condense content were learning into a simple page that is easy to understand

10/12/17: Personal Report Card

10/9/17 Homecoming Weekend

I went to the bonfire, the game, and the dance. At the bonfire I probably ate like four Chik Fil A sandwiches because I just went to a different person each time I asked for one. The game was super fun cause I was with my friends and it was just a blast because we absolutely decimated the other team. The dance was fun, I tied my tie around my head like a bandanna and I made an absolute idiot of myself but that was the entire point so it was a ton of fun. The pictures before the dance went great, here are some of my favorites:
